Bending
Our 3 m LVD brake press has 110 tonne capacity and 8 axes, for large precision bends across enclosures, trays, boxes, architectural signage, cabinets and brackets. We hold a broad range of well managed tooling for all common folds and some specialist ones, including radius forming. Custom punches and dies can be made to your specification.
Programming is offline or by the operator, supported by an 8 axis back gauge that guides the work through each fold. Bending runs from 0.5 to 10 mm steel depending on length. For example, 3 m of 3 mm mild steel.
CNC punching
The Shape 35 CNC punching machine is quick on close formed jobs, with tooling for piercing, punching, nibbling, dimpling and cutting. Programming is offline with nesting, downloaded over the network.
Shearing and presswork
A 2.5 m guillotine cuts up to 4 mm, though much of our cutting is done on the laser. We also hold press tools, fly presses with louvres, corner notchers, flatteners and trueing tools, can machine simple tooling in house and can often use your existing tooling.
