We have wide experience manufacturing stainless steel parts for food manufacturing, food packaging machinery and cooking appliances. Items include blades, machine cabinet bases, fabricated covers, mechanical actuation parts and laser etched labels.
Much of the work is in 304 (1.4301) stainless, whose high chromium content makes it relatively inert to food products, hard wearing and suitable for wash down. For more caustic and corrosive environments we use 316 (1.4404), which is 304 with 2% added molybdenum and is particularly resistant to chloride and sulphur dioxide.
